Double Layered Toffee Cake

Full of ooey, gooey deliciousness!

Ingredients:

Ingredients
Bottom Layer:
1 egg
1 stick butter, (melted)
1 box yellow cake mix
Top Layer:
1 stick butter, (melted)
2 eggs
1 cup crumbled Heath bar
3 3/4 cups powdered sugar
8 oz cream cheese
1 cup chocolate chips
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Cooking spray

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350° F.
  2. Grease a medium pan with cooking spray.
  3. For Bottom Layer:
  4. Combine 1 egg, melted butter and cake mix together in a mixing bowl. Pour into large pan.
  5. For Top Layer:
  6. In the same bowl, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add vanilla extract and two eggs. Beat ingredients together. Add a cup of powdered sugar at a time to bowl, beat until mixed and repeat until powdered sugar is gone. Pour melted butter into mixture and add crumbled Heath bar and chocolate chips. Fold ingredients together.
  7. Pour mixture on top of the bottom layer.
  8. Place baking pan in oven, bake for 40-50 minutes. (Middle should be gooey but not liquid)
  9. Remove from oven, let totally cool before cutting.
Course: Dessert
