Rate this Recipe

Serves 12

Savory, cheesy and a little spicy.

Ingredients:

8 oz cream cheese
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
2 jalapeno peppers, seeded and finely diced
3 slices bacon, cooked and crumbled
1 tablespoon powdered ranch seasoning
1 sheet puff pastry
3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
1 teaspoon finely chopped fresh parsley
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1 teaspoon minced garlic

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 400° F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, jalapenos, bacon, and ranch seasoning. Set aside.
  3. On a lightly floured surface, roll the puff pastry dough.
  4. Spread the cream cheese mixture over the dough, leaving a little space at the edges.
  5. Wet the pastry edges with water. Roll the dough into a tight log.
  6. Slice the log into 12 equal-sized pieces.
  7. Arrange the pinwheels on the baking sheet. Place into the oven to bake for 18-20 minutes, until tops are golden brown. Remove from oven and let sit.
  8. In a small bowl, stir together the melted butter, parsley, salt, and garlic.
  9. Brush the butter mixture over the baked pinwheels. Enjoy!
