The Perfect Grilled New York Steak

Be sure to pull the steaks out of the fridge about half an hour before you plan to cook them and let them come to room temperature. Always clean and oil your grill before beginning and be sure to let the meat rest when it is done. Letting them sit for 5 to 10 minutes before serving or cutting them gives the juices a chance to re-distribute throughout the steak, which both helps it finish cooking evenly and keeps the meat more moist and flavorful.
