Crispy Fried Pork Tenders

Serves 8

Move over chicken tenders!

Ingredients:

2 boneless center cut pork chops
1 egg
1 cup whole milk
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
2 teaspoons kosher salt
1 1/2 teaspoons ground black pepper
2 cups flour
Cooking oil, for frying
Dipping sauce, your preference

Directions:

  1. Pour a generous amount of oil into a large pan. Bring skillet to medium-high heat.
  2. Whisk together the egg and milk in a mixing bowl. In a separate bowl, combine paprika, cayenne, salt, pepper and flour. Set both bowls aside.
  3. Cut pork chops lengthwise into thick strips.
  4. Dip pork tenders into the flour mix, then milk-egg mix and back into the flour mix.
  5. Place pork tenders in the hot oil and let cook for 3-5 minutes, until outside is crispy.
  6. Transfer fried pork tenders to a paper towel lined plate.
  7. Serve pork tenders with dipping sauce and enjoy!
