Rate this Recipe

Serves 2

Ingredients:

2 1-inch thick tuna steaks
5 oz. baby salad greens, washed
Fresh ground black pepper, to taste
6 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
1/2 European cucumber, sliced thin
2 teaspoons steak seasoning
2 tablespoons rice vinegar
Salt, to taste
Cooking spray, for grill pan
4 teaspoons five spice powder
4 radishes, sliced
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 teaspoon wasabi paste

Directions:

  1. Combine steak seasoning and five spice powder in a mixing bowl. Place tuna steaks in bowl and coat evenly. Bring a grill pan to high heat. Spray grill pan with cooking spray. Place tuna steaks in grill pan and sear for 1 minute per side. Remove from heat. Set aside.
  2. Combine cucumber slices, baby salad greens and radish slices in a salad bowl. In a separate bowl, whisk together soy sauce, wasabi and rice vinegar. Once well combined, whisk in olive oil to create dressing. Drizzle dressing over salad and toss together. Slice tuna steaks into thin strips and arrange on top of salad.
