Honey Butter Pork Tenderloin

Serves 8

You get the sweet and the heat.

Ingredients:

1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
2 tablespoons honey
1/2 teaspoon Cajun seasoning
3/4 cup water
1 1/2 lb pork tenderloin
4 tablespoons butter

Directions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375° F. Melt butter and honey in a pot on medium heat. Stirring occasionally.
  2. Season pork tenderloin with ground pepper and Cajun seasoning. Place pork in the pot and brown each side for 5 minutes.
  3. Place pot in the oven and cook uncovered for 15-20 minutes. (Until pork is thoroughly cooked and well browned)
  4. Remove pot from oven. Remove pork tenderloin and place on a plate, cover with aluminum foil.
  5. Pour water into pot and place back on stovetop. Heat to medium and cook for 5 minutes. Stirring occasionally.
  6. Drizzle sauce over pork and enjoy!
