Grilled Peaches with Cinnamon Sugar

Ingredients:

2 tablespoons light brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
4 peaches, halved and pitted
Grapeseed oil, for brushing

Directions:

  1. Heat grill until hot. Mix together the light brown sugar and cinnamon.
  2. To halve peaches, cut all the way around the seam then twist the halves off the pit. Brush cut sides of peach halves with oil then place (cut side down) on grill. Grill for about 3 to 4 minutes until fruit has grill marks. Brush tops of peaches with oil, turn over, and move to indirect heat. Sprinkle grilled sides of peaches with cinnamon sugar. Cover grill and cook until the fruit is tender and sugar is melted, approximately 10 to 15 minutes.
  3. Serve with vanilla ice cream and additionalcinnamon sugar, if desired.
