Asian Beef Salad

Serves 4 | 

Fresh, tasty and so easy to prepare!


2 beef top loin steaks, (boneless, cut 1 inch thick)
1/2 red onion, (cut into thin wedges)
3 tablespoons cilantro, (fresh, chopped)
4 cups salad greens, (torn)
2 tablespoons peanuts, (optional, chopped)
Citrus-soy dressing
  1. Heat large, dry, non-stick skillet over medium heat until hot. Place steaks in skillet; cook 12 to 15 minutes for medium-rare to medium, turning occasionally. Remove; let stand 10 minutes.
  2. Carve steaks. Combine beef, onion and cilantro in medium bowl. Add dressing; toss. Serve on salad greens. Sprinkle with peanuts, if desired.
Citrus-soy dressing
2 tablespoons lime juice
2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 tablespoon sugar
2 teaspoon dark sesame oil
1 serrano chile, (seeded and finely chopped)
1 clove garlic, (minced)
  1. Whisk dressing ingredients in small bowl until blended.
